Our Process

Sometimes the anxiety typically associated with a home renovation project comes from not knowing what to expect. This is typical in an industry where quotes are scribbled on blank sheets of paper and projects are managed on the fly.  Ecowest is different.  We take the time to make sure you are fully informed prior to making your purchase and we continue to communicate with you about the status of your renovation as it is proceeding.

For many, the most stressful part of any renovation is the actual installation itself.  Feel free to watch the short video to the left and get to know the founders of Ecowest Renovations and our team of amazing installers as they walk you through a typical Lower Mainland installation:

Regardless, we do try to keep our process as simple and straight-forward as possible.  So here's what you can expect:

1When you contact us, we will ask you about your home and what areas you feel need to be upgraded. We will book a convenient time for a sales consultant to visit your home and conduct an initial assessment.

2During the initial assessment, your consultant will inspect your home, identify the causes of energy loss and discomfort, and will discuss which upgrades will help solve the problems you are experiencing.

3After the initial visit, your consultant will prepare a report outlining which areas of your home need to be upgraded accompanied by an estimate for each individual upgrade. The consultant will then help customize your renovation, based on your budget and priorities, to ensure maximum value.

4Once you register for your project, we will contact you with your installation date(s). You will be given plenty of notice and we will do our best to work around the events in your life.

5On the day of your project, our tradespeople will arrive and perform the required work. Although some homeowners take a day off of work to be present, most do not, as this is not required.  Watch this short video to learn more about the installation process.

6After the project is complete, your sales consultant will conduct a "walk-through" with you and you can go over any questions or comments about the finished work.

It is important to remember that in the construction and renovation industry things do not always go as planned. This is why our business is focused on making the process as easy as possible for you. We troubleshoot and solve problems from our end as often as possible, but the solution sometimes will require your input as the homeowner, and we will always keep the lines of communication open throughout the process to ensure that your project is completed to everyone's satisfaction.
