The name Valor dates back to 1890 in Birmingham, England, when it manufactured oil-storage cabinets for what at the time was known as the Anglo-American Oil Company. Today, Valor is a world leader in energy-efficient home heating equipment, and their fireplaces are manufactured by Miles Industries in North Vancouver.
