Once we have the newly manufactured, Energy-Star rated vinyl windows from the manufacturer, we contact our client and give them some available dates as to when we can come and install. Because we have done a thorough inspection of the home and have taken precise measurements of the windows, we can anticipate all installation requirements, and bring the necessary equipment and/or personnel to deal with any challenges.
On our agreed upon day, we arrive precisely when we say we will, typically first thing in the morning, and unload the new vinyl windows from our transport truck. Our trades-people will be ready with their plan of attack, and tools ready to go. As we enter the house, our first priority will be to protect any flooring or furniture that could be dirtied or damaged if left uncovered. Once we have covered these items, we begin the process of carefully removing your old windows, and ensuring that they are disposed of in the most environmentally responsible manner, typically through recycling. While all of our trades-people are experienced and professional, they are also fully insured in case of any unforeseen accident.
After the old windows are removed, we inspect the hole where the new window will be installed and prepare it for the installation. We then proceed with the installation process, ensuring the windows are not only placed square and plumb, but that the surrounding gap is properly sealed and insulated using top quality materials.
